Delirio - Hecho en Cali

Been busy all week visiting family and places to eat all week, additionally the internet connection hasnt been working properly. But anyway here’s the update: It really is an amazing place, the weather has been beautiful and the food so delicious. Yesterday I went to the show Delirio that I heard so much about. A combination show featuring Salsa dancing and acrobatics.  I kept hearing great things but I was seriously blown away, these performers were spectacular. I’m recommending this to everyone when they come to Cali. A four hour long show with all kinds of dances, primarily salsa, in an amazing venue with lights, a live band, a dancefloor and the works.

Today I went to “El Kilometreo 18”, a mile marker up the highway going up the Andes mountain. Its particularly special since the weather actually get chilly when you go up so its a significant change from the city. Went to a little log cabin style restaurant for some chuleta de cerdo and churrasco. Amazing as expected.

Tonight going out to a little “rumbita” before leaving tomorrow morning. I’ll give a nice little summary once all the trip is over…which unfortunately is too soon. Back to reality come Monday.
